Retired Permanent Secretary to celebrate 70th birthday with People Living with Disability

A retired Permanent Secretary in the Ogun State Civil Service, Alhaji Adekunle Adegbite has resolved and concluded arrangements to celebrate his 70th birthday anniversary with members of the Joint National Association of People Living with Disabilities(JNAPLD)

Penpushing reports that, Adegbite made this known in an exclusive interview explaining that the ceremony which is in two phases will hold on Wednesday May 11 and Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital

‘The   celebration is going to be in two phases, by God’s grace the first segment will  come up on Wednesday 11th May at the premises of the Women Development Centre near Bureau of Lands Survey Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta’, he said

‘At the event I plan to have a modest celebration with 70 selected members of the Joint National Association of People Living with Disabilities Some token food stuff and household items will be distributed to them’, Adegbite added

Penpushing further reports that, the celebrator disclosed that a   lecture titled ” ‘Sowing the Seed’ of Inclusion in a Groaning System”, will be delivered by Mr Elijah Akinyemi, one of his retired colleague Permanent Secretary

The celebrator said in the same vein, a free eye screening will hold where free glasses will be distributed to any of the 70 beneficiaries that require the use of glasses, adding that second phase of the event which is a thanksgiving will hold at Valley View Auditorium of the Government House in Abeokuta.

‘The second stage of the celebration will hold on Thursday 12th May at the Valley View Auditorium Government House Oke-Igbein Abeokuta.  It will take the form of a Thanksgiving Prayer Session to be followed with a reception at the same venue’, he disclosed
