Fayose holds closed-door meeting with Olubadan

The controversial former Governor of Ekiti State Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday, held a closed-door meeting with the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, amid rising political tension in Oyo State.

Penpushing reports that the meeting lasted for about 30 minutes, but no details made available, however, Fayose before proceeding into the meeting, told journalists that, he was in Ibadan to identify with the traditional institution.

The former Governor it would be recalled that had earlier claimed that Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, was allegedly planning to dethrone the monarch, declaring that the truth about the whole saga will soon be revealed.

Penpushing further reports that the allegation equally pointed out, as well as controversies surrounding an alleged impeachment against Makinde by the state House of Assembly, which was said to involve the traditional institution.
