National Environmental Standards collaborate Global Services Nigeria Limited to organize workshop on circular economy
The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) in collaboration with Accappocco Global Services Nigeria Limited is organizing a one-day comprehensive workshop to create awareness and understanding of the benefits of circular economy
Penpushing reports that Managing Director of the global service Dr. Opone Valentine Ottis said participants expected at the workshop include Managing Directors/ Chief Executive Officers, Factory Mangers
The others are Purchasing Heads/ Managers, Government Parastatals/ Regulatory Agencies, Industrial Union Leaders, Head of Institutions of Higher Learning, Human Resource Manager and Chief Security Officers
Penpushing further reports that he said the workshop is scheduled to hold on April 16, 2026 between 9am – 4pm at Spices Events Hall, Plot 3, First Avenue, Housing Estate, Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The statement disclosed that the workshop is themed “Introduction to Circular Economy and Green Financing”, adding that the training objective includes benefits and how to engage in green financing, to encourage participants, bring forward suggestions to help in the redesign of practical approach and strategies for the whole of industries/ manufacturing value chain.
Penpushing also reports that other objectives are equip participants with the knowledge of waste and emission reduction principles, transforming the organization towards higher circularity.
The statement stated that the training courses/modules include introduction to circular economy in an industrial eco system, GIS, Spatial Technology and Automated Mapping in Facility Management for organisation
Penpushing reports it include Environmental Sustainability in Industries, General introduction to HSE, Energies efficiency in facility optimization, Green financing and Green manufacturing for sustainability in an industrial eco System and Government policies and regulation and incentives for sustainability practice in an industrial eco system.
