Bankole in closed door meeting with Governor Abiodun

The former Speaker House of Representatives Rt Hon Dimeji Bankole on Thursday stormed the Governor’s office located in Oke-Mosan area of Abeokuta, to hold a closed door meeting with the Governor, Dapo Abiola.

Penpushing reports that, Bankole dressed in white attire with cap to match arrived Governor’s office at about. 4.25 pm and having being welcome by the Governor, the duo went into a closed door meeting, but kept the agenda to their chest.

The former Speaker, it is recalled alongside Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former Ogun State Governor recently dumped their party, Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), to join the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC).

Penpushing further reports that, Bankole was elected as Speaker of House of Representatives between 2007-2011 under the banner of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and later contested the governorship election in Ogun State on the platform of Action Democratic Party (ADP

Meanwhile, as at 6.00pm, when filing this report both Abiodun and Bankole were still meeting, inside the office of the Governor, and were joined by Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on political matters, Hon Tunji Egbetokun
