72 Hours to Lagos rally: Gunmen attack Igboho residence in Ibadan
Barely 72 hours to the proposed Lagos State rally, the private residence of Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly called Sunday Igboho has been attacked by gunmen, with unconfirmed report of killing of some residents.
Penpushing reports that, the spokesman of the Yoruba nation agitator, Olayomi Koiki made this known in his media page, adding that the attack of the residence located in Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State Capital was attacked around 1:30am by yet-to-be-identified gunmen
The media aide alleged that some men adorning military uniforms carried out the attack, and in a video clip to buttress his claim, it was observed Igboho’s vehicles, including his G-wagon, Prado Jeep, some valuable properties including furniture, and windows were destroyed
Penpushing further reports that, the circulated video showed bullet holes found in cars parked in the premises while blood stains were seen at the premises, indicating that some people might have been shot dead.
The source within the premises said some residents in the house including a close ally of Igboho identified as ‘Lady K’, were whisked away, while it was also learnt that,as at the time of the attack Igboho was not in the house.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, the Oyo State Police Command was yet to react on the ugly development, just as a source from Igboho camp declared that, the incident would not stop the proposed Lagos State rally.
