Suspected bandits set Governor Uzodimma’s house on fire

The private residence of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma in his hometown in Omuma, Oru East local government area of state has been attacked and set on fire by suspected hoodlums.

Penpushing reports that, the suspects said to dressed in black and black attire stormed the residence on Saturday, and set part of the mansion on fire which spread to the other parts of the building.

The fire as at the time of filing this report had consumed number of vehicles within the premises, while a suspected lifeless body was sighted in front of the Governor’s residence, but some residents of the area were seen making frantic efforts to salvage properties in the building
