You must probe Amosun’s administration, Labour party tells Governor Abiodun

The Labour Party (LP),Ogun State Chapter has asked Governor Dapo Abiodun to ensure that, the government probe the administration of his immediate predecessor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, with much focus of contracts.

Penpushing reports that, the Chairman of the opposition party, Comrade Abayomi  Arabambi made the call in a statement, stressing that all contracts awarded by Amosun between 2011 to 2019 should be scrutinized.

The party boss declared that, some of the projects observed and need to be investigated include; road construction, mitros specialist hospitals, model schools, stressing that all these should attract Judicial Panel of Inquiry

‘The need to verify every level of awarded contracts by the APC administration of Sen Ibikunle Amosun from.2011 to 2019  May to suspected fraudulent cronies and contractors on roads construction , Mitros Specialist hospitals that have not been completed according to the terms of contract while 90% to 100% payments have been effected’,he emphasized

Penpushing further reports that, Arabambi alleged that, ‘every inch of the 23 model schools awarded to ghost contractors with no visible address at a combined cost of N54billion as 21 of them are now serving as fields of habitation for lunatics and wild animals should be thoroughly looked into very quickly’

‘And if needed , it could be accorded the status of attracting  a Judicial Panel of inquiry that will cause all books to be opened while the past commissioners involved must be held accountable and charge to court for comprise and willing accessories to fraud with the erring contractors’, Arabambi added

Penpushing also reports that, the party drew the attention of the Governor to some areas considered as priorities to be attended to, in the interest of the citizens, residents and the general  public

‘However, it is needed to draw the attention of the Governor to some areas that still need much attention. Areas like the Education, developments of infrastructures, the high rate of frightening unemployment’
