A veteran journalist and publisher of newspapers, Ismaila Isa-Funtua has been confirmed dead on Monday night while keeping a Doctor’s appointment, family sources disclosed, adding that he was suspected to have died of cardiac arrest.

The industrialist was a member of the 1994-1995 Constitutional Conference, and also the founder of Bulet International Nigeria Limited, which built some of the iconic public buildings in Abuja.
Penpushing further reports that, the deceased was returning from the mosque where he went to pray when he suddenly fell ill and decided to go see a Doctor before the sad incident occurred.
The Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu also confirmed the death, while a relative of the deceased octogenarian, Mohammed Isa, disclosed that Isa-Funtua will be buried on Tuesday in Abuja.
