United States-Africa Trade Council appoints Regis Uzoma as new Executive Vice President

The United States-Africa Trade Council has appointed Regis Uzoma as new Executive Vice President, Global Operations, and he is to provide leadership and overall guidance and direction, in the programs, policy and strategic efforts to improve the trade traffic between America and Africa.

Penpushing reports that, a statement by the Executive Director / Chief Executive Officer of the council , Engr Titus Oloowokere said Uzoma  is a World Bank certified professional in the fields of Trading for Development in the Age of Global Value Chains (GVCs) and unlocking Investment and Finance in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs)

The statement added that, he is also certified by the International Trade Centre (in partnership with the World Trade Organisation(WTO) and United Nations (UN) in organizing and implementing inward and outward investment promotion missions), export marketing strategy and blockchain for Trade

Penpushing further reports that, Uzoma plays strategic roles in building global trade relationships and projects, especially within Africa, while his core is using Business Intelligence in creating investible projects and relationships across countries and continents.

The statement added that the new Executive Vice President is a marketing professional specializing in brand management, and experienced with several stages of the development cycle for global branding projects.

Penpushing also reports that, Uzoma versed in numerous marketing dynamics including Brand Development, Market Testing, Innovation Management, Route-to-Market, Advertising, Public Relations Management, and B2B/B2C Operations, and has strong background in International Trade Development, Business Management, Media Management, and Client Acquisition.

The Vice President is a seasoned geospatial brand surgeon skilled at connecting the worlds of marketing and tourism through media, business technologies and international investments geared towards building great and trans-generational brands.

Penpushing also reports that, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Brandnet, a 360° Trade Development, Marketing, Brand, Communications, and Technology Company, and also seats on the global board of advisor at the Africa Chamber of Digital Commerce as well as an Executive Committee Member for African Chief Executive Officer.

The statement explained that, the United States -Africa Trade Council, (www.usafricatrade.org) is dedicated to strengthening and enriching the vehicle of investment and trade between the United States of America and Africa.

Penpushing further reports that, Olowokere  said the council provides a bilateral forum on key economic, commercial and professional initiatives, as well as business opportunities of interest to American companies operating in or exploring business opportunities in Africa, as well as African companies planning trade ties and business expansion to the United States market.

The statement emphasized that, United States -Africa Trade Council’s core agenda is built around three interdependent themes: Establishment of linkages, policy input and advocacy to increase bilateral trade and investment between US and Africa; Interchange with the American Business community on the resources that abound in Africa, generating Trade, Tourism and Foreign investment in Africa; promote internationalization of African businesses, products and services to the US marketplace.
