Tinubu picks penpushing member, Kunle Salako as ministerial nominee

A member of Penpushing platform Dr Kunle Salako has been picked by President Bola Tinubu as a ministerial nominee, as contained in a fresh list submitted on Wednesday to the upper chamber of the National Assembly

Penpushing reports that the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, announced the names of the new batch of the nominees at the plenary shortly after the conclusion of the screening of the 28 ministerial nominees.

The Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, delivered the list to the Senate President while the Senate was in the Committee of the Whole, considering the remaining six ministerial nominees, and with the new list, the number of nominees is now 47.

Penpushing further reports that the Senate President, however, as at the time of this report disclosed that the screening committee would reconvene on Friday to commence the screening of the new ministers-designate.

The nominee is a medical practitioner and former Commissioner for Health in Ogun State, and served as the Co-ordinator, Ogun West Stakeholders Forum, as well as played major role in the emergence of Senator Olamilekan Solomon as federal lawmaker representing Ogun State at the national assembly

Penpushing also reports that Salako who hails from Ogun West Senatorial District of Ogun State in the similar vein, played active roles for the then Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress(APC), who eventually won the February Presidential poll.
