Police declare police wanted for murder
The Nigerian Police Force has declared an Inspector Audu Omadefu wanted for alleged murder in Anambra State, who subsequently turned himself to a fugitive and his whereabout remain unknown as at the time of this report.
Penpushing reports that Anambra State Police Command Public Relations Officer Tochukwu Ikenga made this known in a statement but was silence on who the runaway inspector murdered nor where and when he perpetrated the crime
‘The (Anambra Police) Command urges any member of the public who sees the fugitive or has information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or call the command control room number’,Ikenga wrote.
Penpushing further reports Ikenga, a Deputy Superintendent of Police has equally uploaded the photograph of the inspector on various social media handles of the police in the state, and published some telephone numbers of the police in the state, with an appeal to Nigerians to report to the police whenever they see the wanted inspector, adding that any information given in this regard shall be treated with utmost confidentiality,” he assured.
