GUNMEN ATTACK MOURNERS IN BENUE, KILL FOUR DURING BURIAL CEREMONY

The Commissioner assured that the perpetrators would be brought to book and urged the public to assist the police with relevant information that would lead to the culprits arrest.

Penpushing further reports that, the killing comes two weeks after a similar attack in Borno where suspected Boko Haram terrorists opened fire on mourners and killed sixty of them during a violent attack.

Meanwhile, officials of the affected Borno Local Government Area, Nganzai, was of the view that  it was likely a revenge attack two weeks after members of the community resisted an attack by the group.
