Victory Life Bible Church assists traders with N12million to offset debt to micro-finance banks

The Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) with its international headquarters located in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital on Sunday doled N12million to offset the needs of some residents which include who are facing challenges to offset loans collected from micro finance banks.

Penpushing reports that the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume made the donations during the Church’s Annual Special Thanksgiving Service, while one of the beneficiaries include a 50-year-old widow for her accommodation

The church in addition to the gestures also offered scholarship to five students of the School of Nursing, Abeokuta while as a physically challenged woman received the sum of N200, 000 and a wheelchair to aid her movement.

Penpushing further reports that the widow had earlier shared the story of how she was sent packing from her matrimonial home by her husband’s family over her inability to bear a child years after her marriage

The clergyman explained that the gesture was aimed in furtherance of his determination to alleviate the suffering of people especially members, with the aim of giving them peace of mind, stressing that there was the need to give succour and a ray of hope to those who are in need of such.

Penpushing also reports that Achudume emphasized on the importance of thanksgiving and gratitude, and called on people on the need to acknowledge God in all situations, while he equally frowned at the incessant rate of divorces and broken marriages.

The famous cleric urged couples to make Christ the pillar of their home for a lasting union, observing that while believers are not left out in this disturbing trend, it behoves on couples to give their marriages their best shot and try to resolve whatever differences that may come up amicably.

Penpushing reports that at the service the beneficiaries who were short of words, were full of thanks to the church and the General Overseer submitting that indeed God was using him as an instrument to better the cause of humanity.
