Veteran journalists celebrate Pensioners Radio at 2

The League of Veteran Journalists (LVJ) Oyo state chapter on Monday sent a congratulatory message to Pensioners F.M Radio station, known as ‘Agbalode’, located in Ibadan, the state capital on its second anniversary

Penpushing reports that, the Chairman of League of Veteran Journalists, Banji Ogundele and Bisi Bakare(Public Relations Officer) in a statement, noted that the station has had huge impact and tremendous success with its people-oriented programmes

‘The League of Veteran Journalists joins millions of listeners to very heartily congratulate Pensioners FM ‘Agbalode’ on its second anniversary.The Station has had huge impact and tremendous success with its people-oriented,  arresting and captivating programmes both in Yoruba and in English’, the letter reads.

Penpushing further reports that, the league pointed out that, with the radio station, there is no dull moment, adding that the station within the space of two years demonstrated resourcefulness and ingenuity of a powerful workforce.

‘It has demonstrated, within the space of just two years, the resourcefulness and ingenuity of a powerful workforce as it can unarguably be ranked among the very successful stations in Ibadan, nay in Nigeria. It has also proved the truism that it is not how long, but how well., the statement added

Penpushing also reports that, the veteran journalists encouraged the station management and staff not to rest on their oars, but to strive assiduously to break new grounds until it becomes the best and brightest.
