Two London returnees test positive for coronavirus in Enugu State

The Enugu State Government has confirmed that, two persons have tested positive for the coronavirus after medical examination conducted on them on their return from the United Kingdom.

Penpushing reports that, the State Ministry of Health in a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi Agujiobi confirmed the development, adding that the patients have remained in isolation, while the authorities commenced contact tracing

“It is important to inform the public that the patients voluntarily contacted the Enugu State Ministry of Health on arrival from United Kingdom (UK) and requested for the COVID-19 test which came out positive’, Agujiobi said.

Penpushing further reports that, the Permanent Secretary added, “so far the patients have remained in isolation and the Enugu State Multi sectorial Rapid Response Team has commenced contact tracing
