Play common sense politics to attract development, Ogunmefun tells kinsmen

The President of Odogbolu Community Development Council (OCDC), Chief Remi Ogunmefun has called on his kinsmen to play what he called common sense politics to attract development to the community.
Penpushing reports that Ogunmefun made the call at the 46th Odogbolu Heritage Festival and encouraged them  for a more united sons and daughters for the positive developmental growth of the ancient town.
“Growth is something we all desire and Odogbolu as a community will grow in leaps and bounds by the grace of God . To this end, we are resolved to spare no efforts to achieve our goals”, he emphasized
Penpushing further reports that, Ogunmefun who is Special Adviser to the Governor for industry, Trade and investment, also called on his kinsmen to support the community to achieve the plans to  provide infrastructures to the town.
“As we move forward, we are going to focus on the provision of the following Infrastructures for our town. Provision of solar-powered street lights on the major roads, provision of a well equiped youth centre, structured to refocus our youths positively for the future”, he stated.
“Attracting and encouraging entrepreneurship, particularly the establishment of industries and other enterprises into Odogbolu town. To deliver two additional commercial banks to the town and to soliciting for and encouraging government to locate major MDAs in Odogbolu town, particularly in areas where we have competing and comparable advantages among others”, he added
Penpushing also reports that, Ogunmefun acknowledged the unrelenting hard work and contributions of the sons and daughters of the town, especially the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Odogbolu Community Development council, Omoba Sam Ogundogba.
The chairman of the ceremony, Adewale Sonaike supported the infrastructure development with N1million, while the Chief Whip of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon Atinuke Bello and her family donated N500,000
Penpushing reports that, other personalities that graced the occasion include  Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Private Partnership,  Mr. Dapo Oduwole, Hon Sola Arobieke , Hon Yetunde Adesanya, the sixth PresidentOdogbolu Community Development Council (OCDC), Chief Sunday Adegbuyi and Pastor Omololu Oduniyi among others..
Meanwhile, the “Regbe-Reregbe”, clubs and societies were well represented at the ceremony, while the Alaye of Odogbolu, Oba Adedeji Olusegun Onagoruwa sent his royal blessings.
