Penpushing member, Seyi Soremekun loses 90- year- old father
A prominent member of Penpushing platform and National Information Officer of United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Dr Seyi Soremekun has lost his 90-year -old father Evangelist Adebayo Olalekan Soremekun.
Penpushing reports that a statement by the bereaved Soremekun captioned’, And Dad Was Called Home!”, said the family was looking forward to gather together as usual to celebrate the Christmas with him before he passed on Saturday
‘We celebrated his 90th birthday on 27 August this year and we were already looking forward to gathering around him again on 25 December for Christmas, as a family tradition. But the Almighty God needed him to join the Saints, and he was called home yesterday’, he wrote.
‘We all cherish your legacy of contentment which has become the family DNA. Thank you, Dad. Continue to rest in the bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Rest in peace, Evangelist Adebayo Olalekan Soremekun’, the statement read.
Penpushing further reports that, the deceased children include: Dr Seyi Soremekun, Mrs Oluranti Afuape; Pastor (Mrs) Atinuke Bankole; Mrs Modupe Dauda; Pastor Olufemi Soremekun and Motunrayo Soremekun;
The bereaved son, a frontline member of Penpushing platform in the statement explained that as at the time of filing this report, the corpse had being deposited in the morgue adding that burial arrangements will be announced later.
