Penpushing member, Oba Ogunleye inaugurated as global peace ambassador

The traditional ruler of Akinale of Owu Kingdom in Egbaland, and frontline member of penpushing platform, Oba Olufemi Adewunmi Ogunleye, has been awarded a Global Peace Ambassador and admitted a Doctoral Fellow of the Institute of Global Peace and Conflict Management.

Penpushing reports that the investiture ceremony of Towulade of Akinale took place at the Cubana Signature Hotel, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory(FCT), and with the new status, the royal father is expected to strengthen his responsibility in monitoring and keeping Peace globally.

The President of the Institute, Dr Adetunberu Oludotun, represented by his Vice, Dr.Nworgu Okey-Theodore, at the ceremony  said Ogunleye has been recognised for his professional conduct and demonstrated commitment to Peace building, tolerance and Conflict Resolution in his community, State and Nigeria.

Penpushing further reports that, the traditional ruler who besides being a lawyer  and law academician, is a chartered mediator, fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, using his background as a journalist and public relations icon to engage in peace and conflict resolution in his domain and in Ogun State in general.

The Institute of Global Peace and Conflict Management, approved by the Federal ministries of Education and Justice is an affiliate of United States of America Interglobal University, Somalia/USA and has been involved in training and advocacy in peace keeping and Conflict resolution in Nigeria and beyond.
