Penpushing member appointed permanent secretary in Ogun state

A member of Penpushing platform, Alhaji Waheed Adesina has been appointed a Permanent Secretary in the Ogun State Service, with a call on him  to brace up for the challenges of the position and apply himself diligently to the building of the state.

Penpushing reports that the appointment of Adesina, and six others as approved by Governor Dapo Abiodun was contained in a statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kunle Somorin in Abeokuta

The other appointed Permanent Secretaries include: Mr. Adetayo Adewale; Mr. Adedayo Oluyemi Somoye; Mr. Oluwaseyi Sokoya; Dr Qudus Adegboyega Yusuf;Mr. Adenopo Adegbenga; and Dr. Oladeinde Moshood Kayode

Penpushing further reports that, the statement  issued on Fridayexplained that the new appointees will fill the existing vacancies among the rank of Permanent Secretaries in the State Public Service.

The statement added that in similar development Messrs Adebayo Bamidele and Mr. Aregbesola Thomas Babatunde  were appointed as the State’s new Solicitor General and Accountant General respectively.

“Seniority, merit, professionalism and inclusiveness are considered in the appointment of the Permanent Secretaries and the Accountant General for the State in the exercise of the Governor’s power under the provision of Section 208 (c) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended)”, the statement emphasised.

Penpushing also reports that, the Governor while congratulating the new appointees urged them to brace up for the challenges of their positions and apply themselves diligently to the building future of the state, which is the agenda of his administration.
