OGUN TRAFFIC AGENCY DEPLOYS 350 OPERATIVES, 35 PATROL VEHICLES FOR EID-EL-KABIR, REDEEM CHURCH CONVENTION

The Corps Spokesperson, Babatunde Akinbiyi, in a statement stated that the operations commenced on Monday, 5th August, 2019 and would last through Monday, 19th April, 2019, adding that the exercise is to ensure efficient service delivery through effective traffic management in the nooks and crannies of the State, especially at diversion points where road reconstruction and rehabilitation is on-going on the Old Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway and the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

 “The timely clearance of obstructions, prompt rescue/emergency services, collaboration with other sister/security agencies and indeed the motoring public, because safety on our road is a collective responsibility, a philosophy which is in accordance with the guiding principle of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Mfr, Governor of Ogun State”, it added

Penpushing further reports that , the release  all Corps operatives to be humane, civil and exhibit a high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duty, while the command  also felicitate with Muslims faithfuls on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, while admonishing them to be safety conscious and as well to ensure strict compliance with traffic rules and regulations.

The statement emphasized that  any traffic offences particularly at diversion routes along the State Traffic Corridor, would be contravened for any traffic infraction(s) during the celebration and would not be released until Tuesday, 20th August, 2019, when the Corps would have ended her Eid-el-Kabir, Reddem Church  Annual Convention and the Ojude-Oba Special Operation Order.
