Ogun state house of assembly confirms Adeyemo as Clerk

The Ogun State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, sworn in Mr Adedeji Adeyemi, as the substantive clerk of the Assembly following a motion for the confirmation of his appointment.
Penpushing reports that Adeyemo, has been the immediate former Acting Clerk of the assembly,while the motion of his appointment was moved by the Majority Leader, Yusuf Sheriff, seconded by the Deputy Speaker, Oludare Kadiri and supported by the all members through a voice vote.
The Majority Leader moved the motion for confirmation of Adeyemo’s appointment, shortly after quoting the House Resolution.
The statement reads; “HR “The House of Assembly hereby confirm the appointment of Adedeji Taiwo Adeyemo as the Clerk of the Ogun State House of Assembly and the Head of the Legislative Service of Ogun No 057/OG/2020- Confirmation of the appointment of the Clerk of the House of Assembly- resolved, that in view of the High Court Judgement of Thursday, 4th June, 2020, in respect of SUIT NO. AB/227/ 2019, which confirm the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) and the Ogun State House of Assembly Service Commission Law, 2018, in respect of staffing of the State Legislature in consonance with the provisions of the extant Laws cited above”
Penpushing further reports that Adeyemo, is an indigene of Ipokia Local Government area of the State, had his Masters in Managerial Psychology, and had worked in various Ministries and Agencies before he was transferred to the State House of Assembly and had been Acting Clerk at different times.
Meanwhile Adeyemo, has since been sworn in by the Speaker,Rt Hon Olukunle Oluomo after oaths were administered by Barrister George Oyeniyi.
