The Ogun State Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya has commended Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP) for reviving and re-igniting the ISEYA pillars with its transformative power, thereby touching every sector of the State.
Penpushing reports that Onasanya gave the commendation when he received the Management of the agency led by its Project Coordinator, Mrs. Mosunmola Owo-Odusi who paid a farewell thank you visit to him at his Oke-Mosan officer, Abeokuta.
The number one civil servant pointed out that the monumental gains of the project, which is a bold, visionary stimulus became the engine room of the State’s renaissance, thus, has reignited the ISEYA pillars across board in the State.

Penpushing further reports that Onasanya reeled out the pillars to include: education and skills development, agriculture and food security, health, infrastructure, land management as well as ease of doing business which have greatly transformed the State’s economy.
The Head of Service appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for his unwavering commitment to agriculture and land management which made him give his accent to a Bill for a law to establish the Ogun State Agricultural Land Management Agency.
Penpushing also reports that he added that the agency is mandated to deploy a comprehensive Framework for responsible and inclusive Land-Intensive Agricultural Investments (FRILIA), for the acquisition, allocation and management of agricultural land and related purposes in the State.

The Head of Service therefore called on the team to henceforth embark on effective monitoring and evaluation in order not to make the project become a footnote in history, and advised that they be guided with wisdom, protected with resolve and scale up sustainability at its core.
“I extend my deepest gratitude to the Project Management team and all collaborating Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) for their tireless dedication, strategic execution and unwavering commitment to the Project, but the work is not done yet. It must not become a giant that fades into slumber but sustained maximally”, he said.

Penpushing reports that, the Project Coordinator, Mrs. Mosunmola Owo-Odusi earlier in her submission said the visit was aimed at thanking the State Government through the Office of the Head of Service for its unwavering commitment and support to the Project in the State.
The coordinator said a lot has been recorded since the project came into Ogun State since 2020 when its implementation started and appreciated all stakeholders for making the project have a successful landing.
