Muslim group’s financial secretary stabbed to death in Abuja

The Financial Secretary of the Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), Khalid Adamu has been stabbed to death by suspected terrorists at his residence in Abuja,the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Penpushing reports that the religious organization made this known on Thursday in a statement on Facebook, and called on the police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to investigate the incident and prosecute the suspects.

“Some terrorists have stabbed to death (Khalid Adamu) at his residence. He is the financial secretary of the JIBWIS at Lugbe Division in the Federal Capital Territory. On behalf of the organisation, the leader, Sheikh Dr. Abdullahi Bala Lau, condoles the family of the deceased and the JIBWIS FCT members over the loss,” the statement said.

Penpushing further reports that as at the time of filing this report, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident, and when contacted the Police Public Relations Officer Josephine Adeh, said she was yet to be briefed on the incident.
