Penpushing reliably gathered that, the landlord, on realizing the dwindled financial status of the party, decided to eject the authority and members of the party from the building, and equally confiscated their properties.
The landlord was quoted to have resolved that, he would only release the seized properties of the party to the leadership, if the party offset the debt, stressing that he was not going back on that decision, having extended time gesture to them.
When contacted, the State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Muhammed Adeyemi confirmed the ugly development to Penpushing, explaining that the money was owed by the immediate past executive, before his take over the leadership of the party.
‘Yes it is true, I inherited the debt, I was not even aware of the debt, until the end of the 2015 election. The office was locked up, with our properties, and I am still pleading with the landlord to give us grace, but my efforts yet to be fruitful’, he stated.
Adeyemi who lamented over the ugly development, said the situation is even beyond his control, adding that, he would travelled to national secretariat soon, to seek for bail out, just as he confirmed that, the state chapter has no financial capacity to address the situation
