Foundation offers N6million interest free loan to 200 Ogun state residents

A Non-Governmental Organisation, Olumide and Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation has offered loan of N6million without interest to 200 beneficiaries in Obafemi-Owode and Odeda Local Government Areas of Ogun state.

Penpushing reports the cheques for the loan were handed over to the beneficiaries at the foundation’s office in Iyana Mortuary area, Ogun Central Senatorial District, Abeokuta, the state capital by co-founder of the organization, Chief Olumide Aderinokun

The foundation being funded by Aderinokun and his wife Stephanie Aderinokun explained that, the loan is expected to up within six months, stressing that it is aimed empowered the beneficiaries

Penpushing further reports that, Aderinokun, a real estate mogul and property developer said, having gone round the length and breadth of the state, he discovered the financial challenges of many residents

‘I went across each ward before the 2019 elections where I heard people’s cry. There is a micro-loan programme called ‘Gbe omu le lantern’ and it’s so grievous to hear how people are treated and tortured while refunding the loan. I prayed to God to help me with this project because I am very interested in helping the mothers and everyone. Everything will be fine”, Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom said

Penpushing also reports that, the selection process started with beneficiaries picking up application forms in the foundation’s office,and the loan project is one of the ongoing empowerment programmes initiated by the foundation.
