Former Ogun State Sports Commissioner, Olopade submits self for coronavirus test

Former  Commissioner for Sports in Ogun State, Bukola Olopade has voluntarily submitted himself for coronavirus test following observation of  suspected symptoms of the disease, and he is also currently on self-isolation.

Penpushing reports that, the decision of Olopade has continued to receive commendation from various quarters, describing his bold action as good example of a leader, while they prayed for him that the results turn negative.

The Chief Executive Officer of  Nilayo Sports Management Limited told Penpushing in a brief interview on phone that, he took the decision when he notice he developed the symptoms, adding that he is now awaiting the result.

Penpushing further reports that, Olopade also took the campaign against the deadly virus to the social media, where he announced his experience through a video, telling the world that, he has been in self-isolation for the past five days.

‘My name is Bukola Olopade. I got tested to Covid 19, I develop one or two symptoms. I have been in isolation for five days. This video has become essential to let people know its real and its happening and people should not underestimate what is going out there’

‘We must listen to government, we must listen to all publications, we have been getting about being hygienic and using sanitizers, and obviously staying at home in terms of regulating social distance’, Olopade emphasized

Penpushing also reports that, the sports manager who spoke from his Lagos home, thanked the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu for prompt responses to the ravaging coronavirus, and also appreciated the health officials who responded to him when he went for the test
