Deaconess inducted as 1st Iyalode of Anobe community in Abeokuta

A Deaconess of Christ Apostolic Church Agbala Itura, Mrs Olubunmi Fasanya has been inaugurated as the first Iyalode of Anobe community in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital, alongside other chiefs in the land.
Penpushing reports that, Fasanya in her speech gave assurance that her position in the community as Iyalode will bring forthright developments and positive contributions which will further reaffirms the relevance of women in society
‘My emergence as Iyalode of Anobe land, will bring positive impact to all women in Anobe land, by special grace of God, I must contribute positively in development of the this land, I know my God is going to help me to move this land forward, I am tasking all women and members of this community to corporate with me, because we can all do it together if there is cooperation and unity;, she noted .
Penpushing further reports that, Fasanya emphasized that, with all her capacity she will task youths and women in the land on development, adding that her reign shall bring goodness to both indigenes and non indigenes in the land.
“I am imploring to all women in the community to be in unity, and as a woman, I want our youth to be a responsible youth in the society ,so, all of them can attain a greater success in their endeavour’, she stated
Penpushing also reports that, the President of Intellect Club of Nigeria, Temidayo Fasanya, who is a son of the Iyalode assured that the that, the club will utilize the strength of the newly Iyalode of Anobe land to ensure that the land become beneficiary of the club programs.
“It is great privilege and honored to be one of Iyalode’s son, I am going to use this opportunity, being the President of Intellect Club, to liaise with Baale of community, and my mom,(Iyalode) as our core responsibility at Intellect Club to help the needy and develop society, to contribute to the development of the land;, he said.
“With what God as endowed us with, as an Intellect member, and as a son of the first Iyalode of Anobe kingdom, I will do the best to develop this community, and I will contribute my quota as individual in development of the land at large’, he added.
“We are adopting Anobe land this year for our end of year program, every December we normally like empowering the widow, the less privileged, and we always go to the orphanage home, so, this year we are bringing that to this community to enhance the community and to develop society at large, so this community Anobe will be adopted for that kind of exercise’,Fasanya emphasised.
Penpushing also reports that, the Chief Baale of Oke Ata, Chief Akinola Ganiu, in his remarks expressed pleasure on the inauguration of the Iyalode, adding that, being bestowed with the title in the land is a reward of her good deeds, and tasked her to be more proactive and use her position to open door of success for the community and the state in general.
