Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu visits penpushing media new office, commends editorial board

The Commissioner of Police Ogun State Command Abiodun Alamutu has visited the new office of Penpushing Media located at Leme axis of Moshood Abiola Way, Abeokuta Ogun State Capital, commending the management and editorial board of the organization for resilience in bringing the media outlet to global recognition.

Penpushing reports that Alamutu with his entourage arrived the spacious rented office of the media establishment on Tuesday at about 9.30am and ushered into the 2nd floor of the two-storey building for assessment.

The Commissioner said he has been an ardent follower of Penpushing Media, which he said within five years of existence has remain a household name and equally contributing meaningfully to genuine journalism practice across the globe.

Penpushing further reports that Alamutu disclosed that he has always been monitoring the rapid growth of the media outlet, adding that the authenticity of its news package has been responsible for its relevance in journalism world.

The Police boss encouraged the team on need to continue the good work in projecting journalism as a noble profession, adding that the new initiative of the team in introducing corporate social responsibilities to its functions, as well as online television arm also serves as relevance to its positive growth

Penpushing also reports that he emphasized that he was impressed with the rapid growth of the organization, and how far the management had made it possible to be source of authentic news across the world.

The Commissioner assured the organization of his personal and command support, adding that Penpushing Media has been supportive in joining the police command to fight crimes and criminals in the society

The police chieftain equally called on other media organization to emulate the good work and responsible journalism the Penpushing Media is known for, stressing that as at today the orgnisation has remain a factor to be reckon with

Penpushing reports that the founder of the media outlet, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji said one of the objectives of Penpushing Media is to transform journalism practice for better, stressing that the team will not desist in fighting fake news

The founder explained that Penpushing Media has been robustly nurtured on the journalistic ideology of adding value to journalism worldwide, by ensuring credible sources of news around the world, recalling that the journey started on July 19, 2016 on a social media platform with 256 members at inception across the globe.

Penpushing further reports that he said as it progresses, a lecture, which has become a regular project aimed at adding value to the noble profession of journalism, was introduced, stressing that the organization which has become a famous global news dissemination platform, got its certificate of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on June 1, 2017, with the headquarters in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital

‘Penpushing is indeed set to correct and tackle the menace of fake news which is almost becoming daily occurrence in the world with its greater negative impact in our clime, particularly owing to myriad of online communication channels’, Kayode-Adedeji said.

‘Similarly, it aims to revive the dwindling fortune of journalism practice and be a credible platform for genuine news to its readers across the globe. In line with our mission, we shall consciously want to err on the side of caution to authenticate news for dissemination on Penpushing platform’, he added.
