British Prime Minister to return to work Monday after recovery from coronavirus

The British Prime Minister Boris Jophnson will  on Monday return to work after recovery from the novel coronavirus, and has since after discharge from hospital on April 12, recuperating at Chequers, his residence outside London

Penpushing reports that a government source was quoted saying that the Prime Minister was “raring to go” ahead of his return to Downing Street on Monday, while his return to work comes at a crucial time, as pressure mounts on the government to ease coronavirus lockdown measures.

The Prime Minister our source added that, he held a three-hour meeting on Friday ahead of his return with senior cabinet members including Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who has been deputising for him, while on sick bed.

Penpushing further reports that, it is recalled that he  spent a week undergoing treatment for coronavirus at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he also spent three nights in intensive care after his condition dramatically deteriorated.
