Penpushing reports that, the Medical Doctor turned politician also rejected the controversial consensus arrangement adopted by All Progressives Congress (APC) under the supervision of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
He declared that opponents of direct primaries are products of past impositions, surrounded by sycophants and have “unalloyed access to the state treasury”, arguing that, “direct primaries is a one stop solution to impunity, imperialism, rascality and political dictatorship’.
“What is consensus? The initial meaning I have is the thwarting of the wish of the people by a few powerful people. A democrat will never be afraid of the test of his popularity among the people he claims to lead,” Kehinde said.
The Assembly hopeful commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress(APC), Adams Oshiomhole for “aligning with the fundamental principles of democracy” on direct primaries.
Penpushing reports that, the aspirant while speaking on his ambition said he is poised to serve his people in the legislature by pushing for legal frameworks that encourage youth empowerment and promotion of adequate healthcare delivery.
