Woman gives birth to 9 babies
A Malian woman has entered Guinness World of record having gave birth to nine babies known as nonuplets at the Casablanca clinic, while the babies were reported doing well despite complications during delivery.
Penpushing reports that thirty-five medical personnel performed caesarian operation on the mother before the delivery, and had been transferred to the clinic in Morocco as at the time of filing this report.
The spokesman of the clinic, Abdul Kuddus Hafsi said the babies will need medical care for up to three months, adding that Doctors were able to stop a bleeding and save the lives of the mother and all nine children
Penpushing further reports that, the Ministry of Health in Mali said in a statement that ultrasound scan, earlier showed seven babies and gave their sexes as include five girls and four boys, pointing out that, babies from multiple pregnancies often do not all survive as they are frequently born early.
The similar record of such delivery occurred in 2009 when an American woman, Nadya Suleman gave birth to eight babies known as octuplets, to hold the Guinness World Record at a single birth then
