Tinubu reshuffles three ministers-designate, announces Minister for Niger Delta

The Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has redeployed some of the newly Minister-Designate from earlier portfolios assigned to them, and equally approved Minister for the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development.

Penpushing reports that in the new development as contained in a statement by Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale said the President has approved the redeployment of Abubakar Momoh from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development.

The Federal Ministry of Youth is to be reassigned to a minister-designate soon, while the Ministers-Designate allocated to the Federal Ministries of Transportation, Interior, and Marine Blue Economy have been reshuffled.

Penpushing further reports the new arrangement has it that Adegboyega Oyetola is redeployed as the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is redeployed as the Minister of Interior and Hon. Sa’idu Alkali is redeployed as the Minister of Transportation

The statement explained that, both Ministers of State in the Oil and Gas sector are now domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources with the following designations: Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri is the Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources and Hon. Ekperipe Ekpo is the Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources

Penpushing also reports that Ngelale in the statement said the President approved the renaming of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management as the Federal Ministry of Environment, stressing that all aforementioned changes take immediate effect by these directives of the President.
