Theatre Art practitioners association begins screening of movie directors
The Theatre Art and Motion Pictures Practitioner Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and Worldwide has ordered commencement of screening for new Directors and Continuity Managers operating under the body.
Penpushing reports the Chairman of the association guild of directors Ambassador Titi Jeje made this known, explaining that the exercise would help the affected officers to become a qualified, certified and licensed Director and Continuity Mangers as prescribed by the National Censor Board of Nigeria.
The release issued by the Director of Media and Publicity Mr Banji Adelusi , explained that Directors, Assistant Directors and Continuities are welcome and irrespective of sex with relevant experiences both on the field or having learnt from a recognized film school.
Penpushing further reports that Adelusi emphasized that to be qualified for the screening exercise each Director and Continuity Manager are expected to come with a soft copy or a link to minimum of two of the movies they have directed either a feature length or short movie.
The statement pointed out that the exercise is scheduled to hold at the association’s headquarters located at 7, Adeyi Avenue, Bodija, Ibadan on 17th June, 2023 from 10am, adding that prospective Directors and Continuity Manager can join the group link for ease of communication
