According to him,“We got the call while watching Manchester United match on Monday that our man was killed by Aye (confraternity) members,”.
Penpushing reports that, as at the time of filing this report the Oyo State Police Command spokesperson, Adekunle Ajisebutu said the situation has been brought under control adding that some persons have been arrested.
“The situation has been brought under control following immediate deployment of policemen to maintain law and order there. Some arrests have been made and exhibits such as axes and cutlasses recovered’, Ajisebutu said.
He added further that, the State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, has directed that discrete investigation into the incident be carried out and suspects arrested be charged to court,”.
Penpushing efforts to get a reaction from the institution’s management as at the time of filing this report were unsuccessful.
