SHUN VIOLENCE DURING POLL, DOLAPO OSINBAJO URGES WOMEN, YOUTHS
Hear her “women should advise their children not to allow themselves to be use for political thuggery, they should go out and cast their votes for a reasonable candidate of their choice that can take their lives to the next level.”
“They should go out on election day to vote and not fight, they should not wear any branded shirt, cap, or anything branded in any political party logo to the polling units. They should not leave their polling centers until their votes were counted.”
“Women please tell your children to shun any form of violence at the polling units, they should use their index finger to cast their votes properly to avoid a void votes, and to you women you should go out on election day and cast your votes for the progressive party.
” Women are known to be good singers, please do not sing on your way to the polling units, just go there in peace, monitor your votes, ensure your votes were counted before you peacefully go back home.”
“Use your votes to determine your future by casting your votes for APC where continuity of good governance is guaranteed. Don’t cast your votes for the looters, thieves that will take Nigeria back to square one’,Osinbajo stressed.”
Penpushing further reports that, on her remark at the even, wife of Oyo State Governor, Chief (Mrs). Florence Ajimobi assured that women in the State are ready to cast their votes for President Buhari and Prof Yemi Osinbajo come February 16.
“We women in Oyo State want good governance to continue, Oyo women have benefited a lot in this administration, we have nothing less than 420 women that have been empowered by this government with deep freezers, grinding machines, Ajimose food bank, and several other incentives that has made lives meaningful to the women of this State’.
“So I am using this opportunity to urge all women in the State to go all out en mass during the poll to cast their votes for APC so that all what they are enjoying will not just stop like that’,Ajimobi emphasised
Penpushing also reports that some dignitaries at the town hall meeting include; women top officials in the State led by the Head of Service Mrs. Hanna Ogunesan, Chief Mrs. Tokunbo Awolowo- Dosunmu, Oyo State All Progressives Congress(APC) Women leader Mrs. Mabel Williams, Alhaja Bolale Alli wife of Secretary to the State Government among others.
