SAT GURU -MARAJI WANTS N150, 000 MINIMUM WAGE FOR NIGERIAN WORKERS
Hear him “the workers of the country are suffering and I want the Government at all levels to take their welfare as priority, they are entitled to at least N150, 000 per month, instead of the N30,000 paltry they are begging for.
He added that the labour union should not settle for anything less than N150,000 from the Government and any Governor that is not ready to pay should be made to vacates his seat for people that are ready to pay.”
“I don’t see reason the why some Senators, Honorable members and even Governors will be going home with millions of naira each month and the labourers that are working day and night will be going home with just a token that is not even enough for them to cater for themselves and their families’.
He noted that although he didn’t want the labour to go on strike because the strike will affect the economy, rather they should continue with their negotiations with the Government, and not allowing their negotiations to jeopardise alot of things in the country, stressing that both parties should consider the masses and not go on strike.
“We cannot continue to be looking at some of our Governors that are spending our monies on material things, some of those Governors will be going abroad for party, spending our collective tax payers monies and they will be the ones complaining that they don’t have money to pay for their workers, this is too absurd.
