POSTPONED ELECTION: SNATCH BALLOT BOXES, GO TO EARLY GRAVE, BUHARI TELLS POLITICAL THUGS
The President had earlier reprimanded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for postponing the general elections from February 16 to 23, but emphasized that his administration would give the commission all necessary support to ensure a smooth exercise.
Penpushing further reports that, Buhari noted that the electoral body still displayed “incompetence” and failed to let Nigerians go to the poll as originally scheduled adding that, he was in line with submission of Adams Oshihomole that the electoral body had compromised and was in purported collusion with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) national caucus meeting, was initially televised live for about 30 minutes, but cut off after the Buhari’s remarks,while journalists were also ordered to leave the venue to allow for a closed-door session.
