Police community relations committee celebrates Sina Olukolu as he bows out as Oyo state police commissioner

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), on Tuesday celebrated the immediate past Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Sina Olukolu for his exemplary leadership qualities during his stay at the command.
Penpushing reports that, the ceremony held at the hall of the police command at Eleyele, Ibadan, the State Capital, was established as a memorable event, which will remain relevance in the history of the command.
The National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), represented by National Vice South-West Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan pointed out at the sentforth that Olukolu will never be forgotten in the history of the command and the committee as a results of his transformation and legacies
Penpushing further reports that Olaniyan disclosed that, the Police Community Relations Committee(PCRC) has benefited a lot from the experience of the former Oyo state police boss, stressing that his administration partnership with the committee has brought lot of progress.
“Your partnership with PCRC has brought a lot of progress to us, we appreciate you, you always support us in all our our activities, and we believe you are one of the best police officers in Nigeria’, he said.
“Olukolu is a blessing to Nigeria Police force, during his era, Oyo PCRC was rated high across the nation, we loves him and we are hopeful that very soon he will be promoted to the rank of AIG”,Olaniyan emphasised
The committee leadership however called on the new police commissioner, Nwachukwu Enwonwu to emulate the open door policy Olukolu has laid down, saying that partnership between the Nigerian Police Force and the public is paramount.
Penpushing further reports that earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of Oyo State Chapter of the committee, Rev. Peter Omofuoye noted that the body would have been dead in the State if not for the intervention of Olukolu, adding that ‘although, Olukolu is leaving the command in flesh but the command is with him in spirit’.
“Today, we are trying to show appreciation for all your efforts so far in Oyo state police command, particularly the PCRC, we will not forget you in the history of PCRC, and we want to assure you of our support where ever you go.”
Penpushing also reports that, Omofuoye pointed out that the hall project of the committee in Oyo state police command has been there for the past 20 years without been attended to, but the project has been able to speed up through the support of former police commissioner
“Olukolu is good and open to us, we have already become a family, we are together, though you are leaving us in flesh, but we are still with you in spirit”, he stated
The founder, Penpushing Online News Media, Prince Dimeji Kayode Adedeji in his remarks said he was not surprise about the feats of Olukolu in the command, disclosing to the guests that, he knew him as a competent and reliable police officer, in view of his relationship with him of over 30 years.
“We have been together for almost three decades ago, his achievement is not strange to me, and am very proud to be associated with him, am so happy for you, and I will always associate with you, I pray for higher level in your career,”, he emphasised
Penpushing reports that, the media guru praised and prayed for the success of the police chieftain, stressing that he was proud to be associated with him, and had no regret in keeping relationship with him
The immediate past police commissioner, in his remarks thanked the Inspector General of Police, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Osogbo, and the Oyo State government for giving him the opportunity to served in State, adding that he was leaving as a fulfilled person.
Penpushing further reports that, Olukolu said though it has not been easy but he was able to suceed with the cooperation and support of the men and officers of the command and the people of the state, as well as the Police Community Relations Committee(PCRC)
