Pioneer Students of Egba Obafemi Community Grammar School grace Penpushing Media Anniversary
The pioneer students of Egba-Obafemi Community Grammar School located in Obafemi-Owode local government area of Ogun State on Thursday, July 31, 2025 joined other dignitaries to celebrate 7th anniversary of Penpushing Media, owner of online newspaper and television.
Penpushing reports that the old students led by the global President, Alhaji Mutiu Dada stormed the marque events centre, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital to be part of the epoch ceremony.
The former students who left school 42 years ago and converged to celebrate with Penpushing Media, owned by one of them, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji admitted that the gathering was a unique opportunity for another round of reunion.
Penpushing further reports that those who came to grace the occasion include, Mutiu Dada, Moroof Ajisegiri, Bayo Sobande, Lateef Oridota, Sule Ishola, Monsuru Oyebande, Kolawole Sobo, Fatai Akande, Toyin Ogunbomehin and Funke Shodipo who flew in from United Kingdom to be part of the ceremony.
The old students, who almost all of them are now grant parents, used the opportunity of the gathering in reflecting their activities while in school, and shared their experiences there and after, as well as exchanging banters
Penpushing also reports that in a congratulatory letter to Penpushing Media, the old students said they rejoice with the management and editorial board, adding that they are proud of the feats of the organization.
‘The pioneer students of Egba-Obafemi Community Grammar School, Obafemi, Ogun State hereby congratulate and rejoice with the staff, management and editorial board of Penpushing Media on the 7th anniversary lecture of the organisation’, the letter reads
‘We are proud to be associated with this globally renowned media organization, that is reputed for integrity and professionalism, and impactful relevance in the media industry. We wish the organization all the best and congratulate it on the laudable feats recorded in the past seven years of operations’, the letter added
Penpushing reports that, founder of the media organization, Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji expressed appreciation to his school and classmates for honouring him, having been part of the colourful ceremony
‘From the bottom of my heart, I genuinely express my appreciation for authentic love you showed towards upliftment of Penpushing Media. Your presence and participation added value to the Penpushing project’, he stated
‘God will continue to add value to and everything about you. For making me happy, God will always make you happy. Once again, am grateful. God bless you abundantly’, Kayode-Adedeji prayed
