Pa Diran Kayode-Adedeji becomes Baba Ijo of Methodist Church
The patriarch of Kayode-Adedeji of Risawe ruling house in Ilesa town of Osun State, Engr Diran Kayode-Adedeji is to be conferred titled of Baba Ijo of Methodist Church Nigeria, Ijesatedo in Lagos State.
Penpushing reports that the Church Council disclosed this in a letter of notification explaining that the decision was reached at the general meeting of the church held on Sunday June 2, 2025, adding that the conferment has been scheduled to hold on Saturday July 26, 2025
“Calvary greetings to you and your entire household in Jesus Name. Amen. Sequel to the Church General Meeting held on Sunday 2nd June, 2024 at Methodist Church Nigeria, Ijeshatedo, you are been duly elected as the BABA IJO of Methodist Church Nigeria, ljeshatedo”, the notification stated.
“Therefore, we hereby notify you on behalf of the entire Church Council Members and all members of Methodist Church Nigeria, ljeshatedo, that your conferment as BABA IJO will come up as stated below: Date: Saturday 26th July, 2025. Venue: MCN. ljeshatedo. Time: 10:00am’, the letter reads.
“Please endeavour to be at this special service which comes up as stated above Moreover the attached is your allegiance of acceptance of Church Chieftaincy Title to be signed by you and return the copy to the Presbyter’s office. Congratulations !!!”, it added
