The Custom boss noted further that one fairly used black color Peugeot 607 with Duty Paid Value put at 1,253,056.00, bags of imported parboiled rice with Duty Paid Value put at N N49, 634,676.00, 25liters of kegs of Vegetable oil valued at N6, 828,344.44

Penpushing further reports that, Zulkifli added that fifty bags of 50kg of sugar with Duty Paid Value put at N800,977.00, twenty bales of second hand clothing with Duty Paid Value put at N2,047,920.00, twenty nine means of conveyances with Duty Paid Value put at N25,975,212,22.

The Customs boss  pointed out that the total Duty Paid Value (DPV) for the seized goods is N105,728,974.66), adding that most of the rice and other contrabands goods were converted and concealed in vehicles that have no economic value popularly called ‘GURA GURA’ and a motorcycles to perpetrate these nefarious acts.

Penpushing also reports that, he noted that eight suspects were arrested and subsequently granted conditional bail and will soon be charged to court. He however, commended the dedication of his officers and the cooperation of the unit.

The Commander also appreciated service and synergy enjoyed by other sister agencies like the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police, Nigeria Civil Defence Service Corps, and Department of State Security Service (DSS) among others for the actualization of the achievement
