Ota-Agbara Chambers of commerce plans trade exhibition to position it as Nigeria’s commercial capital

The Ota/Agbara Chambers of Commerce Mines and Agriculture(OTAGCCIMA) is set to hold a well packaged trade exhibition in collaboration with Ogun State Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment which is designed to overtake Lagos State as the commercial capital of Nigeria.

Penpushing reports that, the exhibition with the theme, ‘Unravelling  the Business Potentials of Ota/Agbara’, is scheduled to hold for four  days  between 3rd-6th, August at the chamber commerce house located on Km 5 Atan/Agbara Road,  Agbara town of Ogun State.

‘Ota Agbara is gradually becoming the business and investment hub of not only Ogun state but Nigeria as a whole and may in the near distant future overtake Lagos as the commercial Capital of Nigeria’, the organisers boasted.

‘The industrial potential of Ota Agbara need to be shown to the local, national and international community, we believe organizing this first ever trade exhibition will be an avenue to show case the potentials of Ota Agbara as a ready business and investment destination for companies both locally and internationally’.

Penpushing further reports that, the chamber explained that the objectives of the exhibition is to serve as an avenue for companies and individuals to showcase their products to the public, to also serve as avenue where the general public will be able to meet their required product needs.

The other objectives are; to be an avenue to showcase new innovations in the Agricultural, Manufacturing and Technology industries,  a forum for up-coming entrepreneur, Micro, Small and medium size companies to launch themselves, their products and companies to lime light and a forum for all involved in Agricultural value chain to show case their products to the general public.

Penpushing also reports that, the authorities added that, the exhibition centre will equally create a forum where the service and inter-governmental agencies can showcase their services to those sectors or potential users,while the Ogun State Investment and Property Corporation(OPIC) is also partner in the exhibition

The expected participants at the exhibition include: food and beverage manufacturer, small and medium Scale Enterprises, distributors, retailers, government and trade associations, catering business operators, banks and finance houses, as well as multi-national companies
