Osoba commends electorate on peaceful participation on elections

The former Ogun State Governor, Chief Olusegun has commended electorate for peaceful participation in the general elections which kick-started  on Saturday with Presidential and National Assemblies poll.

Penpushing reports that Osoba gave the commendation during an interview with journalists shortly after his accreditation to vote at Omololu Polling Unit 15, Ward 14 in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State
The chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),however, called on the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), to improve in some areas which include early arrival of the electoral officials to their various beats,adding that it has been observed in some polling stations that the officials are yet to arrive
“I want to congratulate our people for conducting themselves  in peaceful and orderly manner.  I pray all will be well.I am happy that people have been orderly and peaceful”,he said
Penpushing also reports that Osoba on the reduction of violence and thuggery, said its a good development, adding that with the introduction of new technology into Electoral system, it will be a wasteful efforts for anybody to think in the direction of ballot boxes snatching
