Oluomo re-elected speaker ogun state house of assembly

The immediate past Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly Rt Hon Kunle Oluomo has been re-elected as the Speaker of the Assembly at  ceremony held on Tuesday at the Hallow Chambers at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta

Penpushing reports that the re-election of Oluomo followed a nomination by Hon Lamidi Olatunji from Ado-Odo constituency which was seconded by Hon Waliu Owode from Ijebu-East constituency and subsequently consented to by other members of the House.
The Deputy Speaker elected in same manner was Hon(Mrs) Latifat Ajayi from Yewa South Constituency, whose nomination came from Hon Oluwayemisi Bakare from Ijebu-Ode constituency,seconded by Hon Olusegun Odunuga from Ijebu- North 2 constituency.
Penpushing further reports that the duo in response to their nominations, joyfully accepted, while there was no dissenting voice or any other counter nomination, hence, the development paved way for the two principal officers to lead other lawmakers for next for years
The two elected principal officers thereafter took oath of allegiance and office, with pledge to be faithful and defend constitution of Nigeria,and shortly the Speaker took the reign of leadership of the 10th legislature,  and his first assignment was to conduct the oath of allegiance and oath of office for all other members of the assembly
