Oke-Ona Grammar School old students celebrate college at 62
The old students of Oke-Ona Grammar School, Abeokuta, led by the National President Hon Abayomi Whyte have joined the students of the institution in marking and celebrating the 62-year establishment of the college.
Penpushing reports that the ceremony held within the school premises had number of activities which include literary and debate organized for 4 schools, quiz competition, awards of prizes to best school and commissioning of 10 white chalk boards donated by Lagos Chapter of the association, as well as cultural dance
The old students as part of their contributions to the developmental growth of the school embarked on renovation of girls hostel, as well as the national executive council pledge of continuity of the founders day every year.
Penpushing further reports that the Principal of the school, Mrs. Tijani Rukayat, an old student of the college as well as Mrs. Kilasho Vice Principal 2 in their remarks expressed appreciation to the association for the gestures in having their former school at the back of their minds towards its positive progress
