Ogun state lawmakers approve Governor Abiodun’s request to appoint 20 Special Advisers
The Ogun State House of Assembly has approved the request of Governor Dapo Abiodun to appoint 20 Special Advisers to maintain the momentum of his (Abiodun) administration pending the appointment of Commissioners.
Penpushing reports that the approval was given by the lawmakers on Tuesday at a Special Executive Session, presided over by the Speaker, Rt Hon Kunle Oluomo following a letter to the Governor
“The House as its executive session today, Tuesday, 6th June 2023 deliberated on Your Excellency’s request to appoint 20 Special Advisers to maintain the momentum of your administration pending the appointment of Honourable Commissioners and found it worthy of the approval of the House’, the letter reads.
“Hence, the House resolved and approved your Excellency’s request to Twenty (20) Special Advisers pending the appointment of Honourable Commissioners for the various ministries’, Oluomo emphasized in the letter
