Ogun state judicial commission to donate police post

The Ogun State Judicial Commission is to donate a police post to the State Command of Nigeria Police, a gesture said to be in line with the commission’s holistic welfare based administration agenda.

Penpushing reports that a statement by Special Assistant to the Chief Judge of the State, Sir Lanre Iyanda said the handing over of the police post will take place on Thursday, February, 24, 2022 at Ogun State Judicial Complex located at Olipakata community in Abeokuta.

“In line with His Lordship, The Honourable Chief Judge of Ogun State, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu” s holistic welfare based administration agenda, the management of Ogun State Judiciary will on Thursday 24th February, 2022 commission a proposed-built Ogun State Judiciary Police Post solely financed by the Ogun State Judiciary by 10am”, Iyanda said

The statement reference number CJ/.12/VOL.X11/138 dated 21st February, 2022 added that the police post will be handed over to the authority of the Ogun State Police Command for proper use and supervision, stating that  the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole will lead other stakeholders to the ceremony.

“On the said date, the police post will be handed over to the authority of the Ogun State Police Command for proper use and supervision. Expected at the commissioning ceremony are the State Police Commissioner, Lanre Bankole, criminal Justice stakeholders and other dignitaries across the state’,Iyanda emphasized
