The birthday man, who journalism runs in his blood has also traversed across other Newspapers like the Sketch,  Punch,  Mail, Exclusive, where he operated as News Editor, and in similar vein worked with the late Moshood biola owned Concord Newspapers and rose to become the Group News Editor.

Penpushing further reports that, in later years, Onayemi  edited the Health Care Magazine and Focus Magazine,  and  earlier was the General Editor for the much a celebrated Prime Sunset tabloid, and presently  a Media Consultant for some specialized Magazines.
