ASSEMBLY ORDERS OGUN MINISTRIES TO APPEAR 2020 BUDGET DEFENCE
The Speaker added that while preparing for the budget defence, the Heads of the MDAs should forward thirty five copies each of their budget estimates and the softcopy to the Assembly on or before Friday, 13th December, 2019.
Penpushing further reports that, Oluomo disclosed that appearance schedule for the exercise would be released in due course, adding that the exercise would commence 10.00am each day at the Conference Room 215, Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, while urging all MDAs to adhere to their budget defence schedule.
The Speaker in another development, acknowledged the efforts of the State Public Works Agency at putting in place palliative measures on deplorable roads across the State, with a charge on them to step up plans towards expanding their scope of work to cover more roads in all parts of the State.
Penpushing also reports that, Oluomo made the submission, while responding to his Deputy, Oludare Kadiri, who spoke under Personal Explanation, on the condition of roads in his Ijebu North State constituency, noting that the failed portions on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway were currently being attended to by government.
The Speaker assured that other roads in the State were already receiving palliative, while calling on the House Committee on Works and Infrastructure to liaise with the State Ministry of Works as well as the State Public Works Agency to expedite actions on other roads in the State.
