New Nigeria Peoples Party unveils governorship candidate, deputy in Oyo state

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) on Thursday officially unveiled, Engineer Popoola Joshua and Alhja Atinuke Adesope as its Governorship and Deputy Governorship candidates respectively in Oyo state.

Penpushing reports that the party governorship candidate while speaking at the event held at Liberty Stadium, Oke-Ado, Ibadan said people in the state are tired of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), adding that the party would rescued people from their current predicaments of oppression.

The Governorship flagbearer of the New Nigeria Peoples Party(NNPP) said the party is  ready to wrestle power from Governor Seyi Makinde’s People’s Democratic Party (PDP) led administration in the state next year.

Penpushing further reports that, Joshua pointed out that people in the state are tired of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), adding that the party would rescued people from their current predicaments of oppression.

The Governorship Candidate promised security of lives and property, employment for the youths, stable economy and dividends of democracy if voted as the governor of the state, and urged residents of the state not to be deceived by money bag politicians, but vote according to their conscience.

“Oyo people want new government, God will use me for good things in Oyo State. This is a critical time in our state, government and power must return to the people, its time the entire citizens of the state experience true democracy and government that works in their favor”, he said

“We are determined to restored our state to its right place as the pacesetter, election is not just about us, it is more about future of our children and our dear state because our people deserve better”, he added
